Fuller’s Landing is Habitat's front porch community providing the opportunity of safe, affordable homeownership in partnership with hardworking qualified families.
Located on the northwest side of Fort Wayne on West Cook Road (just west of Huguenard Road), the 115-lot neighborhood features one- and two-story homes with two car garages, sidewalks throughout and a community playground.
And as always, homes are sold to qualified families through zero-interest mortgages, with a $500 down payment and monthly payments around $500 including taxes and insurance*.
*Down payment due before closing; 0% annual percentage rate for 20- to 30-year mortgage term; monthly payments include taxes and insurance.
Every home built by Habitat has at least three bedrooms (additional bedrooms are added depending on family size and childrens' ages), a two-car garage and a front porch.
Families make their homes their own by selecting details such as siding, front door and shutter colors; flooring style and colors; counter tops and cabinets.
Every home is built energy efficient, with natural gas HVAC, quality windows and insulation, and Energy Star-rated appliances (families can choose between gas or electric ranges). Most homes earn a Five Star Plus energy raiting by an independent diagnostic company, which can translate into real savings of up to $1,000 annually in utility costs for homeowners.
