Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) for 2012-2013 tax credits are available to Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity donors. NAP credits are a great way to support Habitat while gaining significant tax credits.

How does it work?

Donations of $100 or more are eligible for a 50 percent tax credit and a deduction at the federal level if you itemize. Each $100 in gifts from an Indiana resident whose tax bracket is 28 percent generates an estimated $64 in tax savings ($50 NAP tax credit and $14 in federal tax savings), thus each $100 you give costs you only $36 (check with your financial advisor to see how NAP will work for you).

Please note, we cannot accept NAP donations prior to July 1. NAP donations are specifically designated and cannot be applied towards specific Habitat funds, such as Apostle Build or Women Build pledges.

Send a check of $100 or more made out to “Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity” with “NAP” clearly written on the memo line of the check along with the
NC-10 NAP tax credit application form (complete the top two sections only) to the Fort Wayne Habitat office to receive the credits. Gifts will be processed in the order in which they are received. Please contact our office at 260.422.4828 with any questions.
