Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build safe, stable and affordable homes in partnership with families in need. We invite volunteers to help us build, assist in the office, work in the ReStore, serve on committees and help with special projects that benefit the organization. There is always a place for you to bring your unique talents and skills as a volunteer for Habitat.
No experience is necessary! Staff and volunteer leaders will provide you with all the training needed.
A minimum age of 16 is required to volunteer on the construction site or at the ReStore. All volunteers under the age of 18 must bring a signed Minor Liability Waiver Form with them on their first day of volunteering.
***Any weather delays or cancellations for construction at Fuller's Landing will be posted in the "News" section of our website by 7am the day of the build.***

Habitat relies on volunteer labor to keep the cost of homes affordable for qualified families. No experience is necessary to work on the build site. All you need is a willingness to learn! Habitat hosts volunteer groups and individuals every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. The work day begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Build Day Information/Directions
*Construction for the 2016 build season will begin in April.
-Individuals: Habitat utilizes an easy online sign-up for volunteers convenience and to streamline our communications. Individuals will create a user name and password and then can sign up for any open days.

We have over 500 drop-off locations at businesses, organizations, and schools around Allen County where individuals can drop off aluminum cans. Volunteers drive the Habitat can truck on a specific route to pick up cans at certain locations once a week.
